Plan Ahead for a Smooth Entry into Malaysia
If you're attending the 2026 Neptune Conference in Kuala Lumpur, make sure to check the visa requirements for your nationality. Depending on your passport, you may be visa-exempt, eligible for an eVisa, or required to apply for a visa beforehand.
Visa-Free Entry
Citizens from the following countries can enter Malaysia without a visa for tourism or business: 90 days: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China (until Dec 31, 2026), France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States, and most EU and GCC countries. 30 days: Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, India (until Dec 31, 2026), Turkey, and others. 14 days: Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar (for ordinary passports).
eVisa Eligible Countries
If your country isn’t visa-exempt, you may be able to apply online for an eVisa through Malaysia’s eVisa portal. Eligible countries include (but not limited to): Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Serbia, Sri Lanka, and more.
